mas nem por isso menos instigantes...

A libélula, assim como as borboletas e fadas, são um tributo ao selvagem e livre. Habitantes dos dois reinos, no ar e na água, trazem luz entre suas asas.

Quando iniciei o resgate de minhas produções, já havia reservado esta para uma postagem relativa ao evento de CARNAVAL. No último dia 21/02/2012 comemoramos esta festa, talvez, a maior e mais importante do Brasil, inclusive, há bocas que ousam dizer que o ano começa somente depois do carnaval, de fato. 


When i started the rescue of my productions, had already booked this one for a post on or about the Carnival event. 21/02/2012 On the last day we celebrate this party, perhaps the largest and most important of Brazil, besides, there are mouths that dare to say that the year only starts after Carnival, in fact.


Após o feriadão seguido de micro férias, ganhamos um novo fôlego, uma refrescada nas idéias.  Conseguimos trazer boas vibrações, inspirações, objetivos e motivações para prosseguir no ano que seguimos, a "Ilha da Magia" (Florianópolis/SC) encarregou-se de nos presentear desta forma e com uma semana recheada de lindas paisagens regadas a muito sol e água fresca, assim como ótimas companhias e novos amigos que lá fizemos...quem nos acompanha em nosso regresso é aquele gostinho de quero mais, e a certeza de que precisamos, necessariamente, voltar no próximo ano.


After the holiday followed by mini vacation, gained a new impetus and a refreshed ideas. We brought good vibrations, inspirations, motivations and goals to porsue in the present year, the "Magic Island" (Florianópolis/SC - Brazil) undertook to present us in this sense with a week filled by beautiful landscapes filled by lots of sun and fresh water as well good companies and new friends there made...Who accompanies us on our return is this cruel desire to return...Certainly that we must come back next year.

Mas vão recuperá-lo para ensinar ao homem branco a reverência pela sagrada terra. Aí, então, todas as raças vão se unir sob o símbolo do arco-íris para terminar com a destruição. Será o tempo dos Guerreiros do Arco-Íris."

Albatroz-Errante, das margens do gelo que circunda a Antártica até o Trópico de Capricórnio. 

Costumam acompanhar navios viajantes, para os marinheiros é sinal de tempo bom. 


Errant Albatross, from the frozen margins that surrounds Antarctica up to the Tropic of Capricorn. Often accompaning ships in it's travels, for sailors is a sign of good weather.


Forrageia no talude ou fora da plataforma continental, daí seu nome de errante, onde captura presas principalmente na superfície, dada a limitada capacidade de submergir.


It forages on the slope or outside of the continental shelf, hence the name of wandering, which capture prey primarily on the surface, due to its inability of submerge.


Os machos são mais brancos que as fêmeas, também mais pesados. Partilham com o Marabu e o condor-dos-andes a distinção de possuir a maior envergadura de asas das aves terrestres, variando de 2,90 a 3,50 metros.


Males are whiter than females, also heavier. Share with marabou and the condor of the Andes the distinction of having the largest wingspan of land birds, ranging from 2.90 to 3.50 meters.

Vive em colônias dispersas começando a se reproduzir com cerca de 11 anos, têm posturas que ocorrem entre dezembro e fevereiro, resultando em um único ovo. Incubação, partilhada por ambos os pais, dura cerca de 11 semanas e o filhote resultante leva 40 semanas para deixar o ninho (entre novembro e fevereiro). O período reprodutivo é longo (55 semanas) e bi-anual. São de expectativa de vida elevada podendo passar dos 50 anos. Há aproximadamente 28.000 indivíduos maduros, é uma espécie de ave considerada como Globalmente Vulnerável à extinção.


Lives in colonies scattered, start to reproduce themselves about 11 years old, have its egg-laying between december and february, which results in a single egg. Incubation, shared by both parents in about 11 weeks and the resulting offspring takes 40 weeks to leave the nest (between November and February). The breeding season is long (55 weeks) and bi-annual. They are of high life expectancy, 50 years may go. There are approximately 28,000 mature individuals, this is a species of bird considered globally vulnerable to extinction.
